Baan Saladan Nightlife
Where to Go at Night in Baan Saladan
From about 19:00 onwards, Saladan is generally busy with many visitors choosing to shop as the temperature cools down or to eat at one of the many restaurants. Surprisingly however, Saladan’s nightlife has not grown as much as tourism has, as many tourists choose to return to the beach or their hotel to finish their evening.
So real bars are limited and the choice is small. The good news is that these bars have ‘lively’ owners who know how to party and more importantly make a mean cocktail or two!
Bar Racuda
Originally a divers’ bar, in recent years, Bar Racuda has become known amongst tourists as an excellent cocktail bar. Located above a dive shop, the entrance is hidden at the side, but we recommend climbing the stairs as this small but friendly bar benefits from a slight sea breeze and you are sure of a warm welcome, cold beer and lively music.
Opening Hours: Daily 17:00 – till you leave!Location: Above Lanta Scuba Dive Shop
Mary Ann’s
A small but welcoming bar, definitely more of a beer drinkers’ place than a wine bar. Expect a good chat with the local Westerners on the island, and Mary Ann is a mean cook of British Pub Grub!
Opening Hours: Daily from 13:00 till 23:00Location: First turning after Lanta Mart (opposite 7-Eleven) on the right
